During 41 years, the managing committee, the principals and the staff of S.P.N. College contributed a lot to the expansion and progress of this institution. In the beginning, the college had five classrooms and the student strength was less than four hundred. But the college continued making tremendous progress every year.

Established in 1968, Master Tara Singh Memorial College For Women, Ludhiana was the first women college to commemorate the cherished memory of Master Tara Singh-an educationist and a great visionary-to serve the cause of women education with about 150 students and 7 teachers.
