KLE Society's Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College offers 5.5 years bachelor's degree courses in MBBS. The Declaration of the Trust was registered Vide no.35/1985-86 on 17th of October 1985, as Dr.M.V.Shetty Memorial Trust ® with Dr. M.Ramgopal Shetty, an eminent Vascular Surgeon, Mangalore, Sri. K. Muthaya Shetty, an Industrialist from Bangalore and Mrs.Leelavathi Shetty of Mangalore as the Trustees.
