C.Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology (CAHCET) was established in the year 1998 by Melvisharam Muslim Educational Society, popularly known as MMES, committed to the service of the people, has been striving to provide literacy to the downtrodden, underprivileged people.Initially, the college was started with three disciplines viz., Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and Computer Science & Engineering.

Our College is founded by V.S.B. Educational Trust in the year 2002. It is located on NH-67 about 13 kms from Karur on Coimbatore road and spread across 50 acres of lush green campus. Our College is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Institution and a self financing co-educational institution with an intension to provide value-based technical education and mould the students for industry requirements.
