Vels Srinivasa College of Engineering and Technology was established in year 2001 by Sri Balaji Charitable and Educational Trust with the objective of producing high quality engineers and technocrats.

Sri Nandhanam Educational and Social Welfare Trust founded Sri Nandhanam College of Engineering & Technology (SNCET) in the year 2001. SNCET is an ISO 9001:2000 certified Institution. SNCET is a Linguistic Telugu Minority institution. SNCET is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & Affiliated to Anna University (AU), Chennai. R.M.D. Engineering College started in the year 2001 – 2002 at Kavaraipettai, Gummudipoondi Taluk, and Thiruvallur District under the auspices of Sri Swaminatha Naidu Educational Trust which is a registered Telugu Educational Trust. The trust renders philanthropic and educational service to Telugu linguistic people living in rural areas bordering Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
