Tezpur Law College, established in 1972 is one of the best institutes of Legal Education in Assam. Tezpur College, one of the premier colleges of Assam, came in to existence in the year 1965 due to untiring efforts of Late Dulal Chandra Bhattacharjee, a doyen of teaching and legal community of Assam .He was also the founder president of the college.
