Govt College Chhara Jhajjar Haryana

Established in 1996, Government Degree College Jainti, is located in a village in Almora District of Uttarakhand. Located at an altitude of about 1850 meter above sea level, it is a remote hilly area and the college campus itself is situated in a hillock on the outskirts of the village. The college is surrounded by a number of villages and hamlets and students enrolled in this college are mainly from rural background. At present Undergraduate Courses are being run in Arts & Commerce stream.

The College was taken over by the Government on 01.02.06. It is an Arts stream College and conducts classes at Higher Secondary & Degree level. The College offers Honours courses in Political Science and General in English, Education, Sociology, Economics and History.

Saltora Netaji Centenary College, established in 2001, is the general degree college in Saltora, Bankura district. It offers undergraduate courses in arts. It is affiliated with Bankura University.

Patrasayer Mahavidyalaya is a grant-in-aid college of West Bengal and is recognized under section 2 f and 12B by the UGC. The college was established in 2005 at Patrasayer in the district of Bankura. Despite lack of proper communication facility, drinking water, power supply and many other minimum required infrastructural facilities, the zeal and eagerness of some people to educate the most deprived and backward class of this area gave birth to this college.

Galsi Mahavidyalaya started its journey on 15th june 2007 in a building provided by the Managing Committee of Galsi High School.
