Peren College was established on 14th April,1987, the outcome of a joint effort of the public leaders, officers and general public with the objective of providing facility of higher Education to the people of Peren District, most of whom are socially,economically and educationally less advantaged and thereby to bring them to frontline society.

Welcome to St.Xavier College, Jalukie, the pride of Peren. Established in 2005, the college has run on success and giving hope to the growing generation of the land. In the past history of one and half of a decade, the institute has nurtured hundreds for the attainment of Bachelor of Arts BA.
