Ram Meghe, the President of the "Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society." The Institute is affiliated to S. G. B. Amravati University, Amravati, approved by D.T.E. (M.S.) & A.I.C.T.E. (New Delhi). C.Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology (CAHCET) was established in the year 1998 by Melvisharam Muslim Educational Society, popularly known as MMES, committed to the service of the people, has been striving to provide literacy to the downtrodden, underprivileged people.Initially, the college was started with three disciplines viz., Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and Computer Science & Engineering.
