Mahatma Gandhi College was started in 1992 as an affiliated College of Acharya Nagarjuna University by Sri Vasavi Academy of General and Technical Education, Guntur, a registered non-profit society with the cherished objective of promoting technical and higher education. The College was promoted by Prof. D. A. R. Subrahmanyam, a prominent academician, with the blessings of Sri Kanna Lakshmi Naryana, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Govt. of A.P. OUR MISSION

The Oxford College of Science was started in the year 1994 with twelve students and five teachers. Within fifteen years, the college has registered a phenomenal growth. The institution owes this astounding progress to our dedicated Management and a committed teaching staff. Within an intensely competitive environment, the college has adopted a dynamic, global, high-quality; creative and communicative approach in education, as well as research and development.

The college was established on July 4th, 1945 as W.G.B.College and later renamed as D.N.R.College in the year 1964 in appreciation of the memorable services rendered by the Founder Secretary & Correspondent Late Sri DANTULURI NARAYANA RAJU. This College is renowned as a pioneering institute of higher learning and enjoyed a place of pride under the illustrious leadership of the stalwarts since inception.
