VITEEE Syllabus 2027: Subjects, Units and Official PDFs

VITEEE applicants choose the MPCEA (Mathematics) or BPCEA (Biology) question combination. The topic outline below preserves the subject structure of the previous VITEEE syllabus; the latest VIT-issued PDFs and 2027 prospectus take precedence if any unit changes.

Physics units

  • Units, dimensions and measurement
  • Mechanics, gravitation, properties of solids and fluids
  • Oscillations, waves, heat and thermodynamics
  • Electrostatics and current electricity
  • Magnetic effects, electromagnetic induction and alternating current
  • Optics, modern physics and electronic devices

Chemistry units

  • Atomic structure and periodic properties; p-, d- and f-block elements
  • Coordination compounds and solid-state chemistry
  • Thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium and kinetics
  • Electrochemistry
  • Organic isomerism, alcohols and ethers
  • Carbonyl compounds, carboxylic acids and derivatives
  • Organic nitrogen compounds and biomolecules

Mathematics (MPCEA)

  • Matrices, determinants and complex numbers
  • Analytical geometry in two and three dimensions; vector algebra
  • Differential and integral calculus and applications
  • Differential equations
  • Probability distributions, discrete mathematics and statistics

Biology (BPCEA)

  • Taxonomy, cell and molecular biology
  • Reproduction, genetics and evolution
  • Human health, diseases and physiology
  • Biochemistry and plant physiology
  • Biotechnology and its applications
  • Biodiversity, ecology and environment

English and Aptitude

Prepare English grammar, comprehension and pronunciation along with the aptitude topics prescribed in the current official prospectus. The 2026 pattern allocated 5 English and 10 Aptitude questions to each stream.

Download the current syllabus only from the VITEEE official portal or VITโ€™s linked subject PDFs. Previous VITEEE 2026 PDFs included separate Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and English & Aptitude documents; do not assume those PDFs are the 2027 syllabus.
