About SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2027
The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is the entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for admission to eligible B.Tech and integrated engineering programmes at participating SRMIST campuses. SRMJEEE eligibility
The latest official eligibility document located for this entry is for the 2026-27 B.Tech cycle, not a 2027-28 notification. It specifies resident Indian status for the regular application route, a minimum age of 16 years and 6 months by 31 July of the year of the Class 12 examination, and a qualifying 10+2 examination (passed or appearing) with the stated subject combination and minimum aggregate. Non-resident Indian, PIO and OCI applicants are directed to the international application route. Campus and programme conditions differ; the linked official PDF is authoritative.
- 2026-27 reference requirement: at least 60% aggregate across the qualifying three subjects specified in SRMIST's eligibility document.
- Standard engineering subject combination: Physics and Mathematics are compulsory, with at least one permitted third subject such as Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Engineering Graphics, Botany or Zoology.
- Biology-based programmes: specified biotechnology, genetic engineering and biomedical programmes accept listed PCM/PMB/PCB combinations subject to the document's conditions.

Application fee
The official 2026 B.Tech application portal stated a non-refundable application fee of ₹1,400 for each phase. Applicants selecting more than one phase paid separately for each selected phase. This is a 2026-cycle fee and is not a confirmed 2027 fee; check the live portal before payment.

SRMIST's 2026 B.Tech application page listed Phase 1 from 24–29 April, Phase 2 from 10–15 June and Phase 3 from 4–5 July 2026, with application deadlines of 16 April, 4 June and 30 June respectively.
