SNAP 2026 Syllabus: Section-Wise Topics and Preparation
The SNAP syllabus is an aptitude-based outline across three sections. The topics below combine IndCareer's historical topic map with the 2026 test structure; the official bulletin and any test-day instructions take precedence if the published syllabus changes.
| Section | Subject areas and units |
|---|---|
| General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability | Reading comprehension; vocabulary including synonyms, antonyms, analogies and idioms; grammar and sentence correction; sentence completion; verbal reasoning and comprehension-based inference. |
| Analytical and Logical Reasoning | Arrangements and grouping; series and sequences; analogies and classification; coding and relationships; directions; puzzles; deductions; critical reasoning; statement-based and cause-effect questions. |
| Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency | Arithmetic including percentages, ratios, averages, profit and loss, time-work and speed-distance; algebra and number properties; geometry and mensuration; basic modern mathematics; tables, charts and graphs; data sufficiency. |
How to use the topic list
Use the topic groups to plan revision, then practise timed mixed questions. SNAP is a short, speed-oriented test, so include accuracy checks and negative-marking practice. A topic list is not a guarantee that every listed subtopic will appear, nor that other topics are excluded.
