FTII JET Cutoff
FTII does not publish one common cutoff score that applies to all courses and cycles. The 2025-26 prospectus set course-wise screening ratios and qualification rules. For most programmes, candidates needed a non-zero positive Paper-I score; Paper II evaluation was limited by the stated seat-based screening ratio, and Stage 2 shortlisting used a separate ratio based on seats and category. Screen Acting had its own written-test and Stage 2 shortlist rules.
Factors affecting shortlisting and final merit
- Chosen programme, course-specific paper and available seats.
- Number of applicants and their Paper-I and Paper-II performance.
- Category-wise seat allocation and reservation rules.
- Practical, analytical, performance or interaction assessment in Stage 2.
- The 25% Stage 1 and 75% Stage 2 weightage stated in the 2025-26 prospectus.
Use official course-wise qualified lists and the current prospectus as the benchmark. Unofficial expected marks cannot guarantee qualification, because eligibility and selection are determined by FTII's published rules and merit process.
