FDDI AIST Cutoff
FDDI's official material reviewed does not provide a single permanent AIST cutoff score for all programmes and campuses. Admission is processed through the applicable merit, counselling and seat-allocation rules. Any published rank or score threshold is specific to its admission year, programme, campus and category; it should not be presented as a guaranteed qualifying benchmark for another cycle.
What affects merit and closing ranks?
- Number and performance of candidates taking the relevant AIST programme paper.
- Programme and campus preferences, seat count and counselling-round vacancies.
- Category, reservation and applicable horizontal-reservation rules.
- Eligibility, documents and confirmation of qualifying examination results.
- Any cycle-specific alternative national-level score mapping explicitly permitted by FDDI.
Qualifying benchmarks and category-wise trends
Do not confuse minimum academic eligibility with an AIST cutoff: meeting the 2026 educational eligibility did not by itself secure a seat. The 2026 prospectus shows category-based seat allocations and a separate NRI/industry-sponsored process; actual category-wise closing ranks must be verified in official merit and counselling notices. FDDI had not announced a 2027 cutoff or benchmark in the sources reviewed on 11 October 2026. Compare historical trends only where reliable official round-wise data are available, and allow for campus and programme differences.
For current decisions, consult FDDI's official merit list, seat matrix, reservation notice and counselling schedule. The institute's published rules and available seats take precedence over unofficial predictions.
