Account Registration:

Generate your login credentials and application number.

  1. Visit the official UPES portal at upes.ac.in or admission.upes.ac.in.
  2. Click on Apply Now / ULSAT 2026 Registration.
  3. Fill in basic contact details: Full Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, State, and City.
  4. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent to your device.
  5. Save the generated Application Number and password sent via SMS/Email.

Profile & Academic Form Completion:

Select law stream and enter academic qualifications.

  1. Log in to the UPES Candidate Portal using your Application Number and Password.
  2. Choose your law program (e.g., 5-Year Integrated BA LLB / BBA LLB / B.Com LLB, 3-Year LLB, or LLM).
  3. Select your admission pathway (ULSAT Exam Pathway or Non-Exam Pathway via CLAT/LSAT/Board Merit).
  4. Fill in parent/guardian details, permanent address, and Class 10 & 12 marks (or aggregate graduation marks for 3-Year LLB/LLM).

Document Uploads:

Upload passport photo and signature as per format.

  1. Passport Photograph: Upload a recent color photograph (JPEG/JPG format).
  2. Signature: Upload a scanned image of your signature signed on white paper with black/blue ink.
  3. Mark Sheets: Upload scanned copies of Class 10 and 12 marksheets (or provisional/appearing certificates).

Fee Payment:

Pay the registration fee online.

  1. Review your filled application form for any errors before navigating to the payment gateway.
  2. Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹1,750 using Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  3. Download and print the Payment Confirmation Receipt and completed application form for future reference.

Slot Booking & Demo Test:

Select your preferred date and time for the remote test.

  1. Re-login to the candidate dashboard when the slot booking window opens.
  2. Select your preferred test date (exams are held in rolling phases, typically on Wednesdays and Saturdays) and preferred time slot.
  3. Complete the mandatory Online Proctored Demo Test available on the dashboard to test your web camera, system compatibility, and internet speed before exam day.
