Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune invites applications for admission to Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) Exam for the academic session 2022 at its Pune Campus. The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP Test) is an yearly management entrance test conducted by the Symbiosis International University for admission to MBA post-graduation programs in the affiliated colleges under the University. SNAP is the first step in the process of admission after which the students are required to submit applications in individual colleges and clear personal interaction and Writing Ability Test (WAT).

Eligibility Criteria
SIMS – Master of Business Administration :
- Candidates should be a graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade at graduation.
- Defense Category candidates should be the son/ daughter/ spouse of Defence personnel.
- Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
- A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SIOM, Nashik – Master of Business Administration (Operations Management) :
- Candidates should be an Engineering Graduate (Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology) from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.
- Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
- A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SCIT – Master of Business Administration (Data Sciences & Data Analytics) :
- Candidates should graduate with Mathematics at 10+2 level from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.
- Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
- A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SIBM, Bengaluru – MBA (Quantitative Finance) :
- Candidates should graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation level. The students must have studied Mathematics/ Statistics during Standard XII.
- Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
- A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

How to Apply
- SNAP Test 2023 will be conducted on three different dates. Please note these dates carefully:
- Date: 10 December 2023 (Sunday)
- Date: 17 December 2023 (Sunday)
- Date: 22 December 2023 (Friday)
- A candidate can appear for upto three tests for SNAP 2023. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization . A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests. This will ensure normalisation of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalised for the level of difficulty across all three tests. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.
- Register online on the website snaptest.org (upto November 23, 2023 (Thursday)) .
- Ensure that the information you have filled in is accurate. No change in name, date of birth, category, test city and test date requests will be entertained once a candidate has paid her/his SNAP Test 2023 registration fee.
- SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute is non- refundable and non-transferable.
- Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo (in case a candidate is registering for SNAP on a desktop) at the time of online registration for the SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than six months old)

Selection Process
- Shortlisting for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (GE-PIWAT):
- A candidate will be shortlisted for further admission process (GE-PIWAT) based on her/his overall SNAP Percentile. Please check the respective Institute website for information and dates of GE-PIWAT.
- The further admission process is conducted separately for each programme by each Institute. The cut-off for shortlisting is also calculated separately for each programme. Based on her/his overall SNAP percentile, a particular candidate may get shortlisted for more than one programme. In such a scenario the candidate is expected to participate in the GE-PIWAT for each programme separately.
- Merit list will be based on the following parameters:

- SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has four responses. The candidate should choose an appropriate response.
- Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.
- A candidate can appear for upto three tests for SNAP. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization. A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. - Any malpractice / use of unfair means will lead to your disqualification from the admission process of SIU. Instances of any incorrect information or process violation detected at any stage of the selection process will lead to immediate disqualification of the candidate from the selection process and he/she will not be allowed to appear for SNAP in the future. If such instances go undetected during the current selection process but are detected in subsequent years, such disqualification will take place with retrospective effect.

No request for a change of test date or test city will be entertained once a candidate has paid the SNAP Test registration fee. Test City and Test Date are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The earlier you pay, the higher are your chances to obtain a test date and test city of your choice. The Test Timing, Test Centre and its address will be printed on the Admit Card. (The Admit Card will be live on the SNAP website snaptest.org)

SNAP Admit Card
Candidates have to print SNAP 2020 Admit Card from the website: http://www.snaptest.org/ which will be available from 1st week of December 2020. Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test.
An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following:
• Passport.
• Driving license.
• College/ Institute Identity Card.
• Credit card with photograph.
• Voter ID Card.
• Pan Card
• AADHAR Card (UID)
Note: Candidates have to note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU. If the Admit card is lost, a duplicate Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained by the candidate till the admission process is over.
SNAP Result
The result of the SNAP Test is expected to be released in January . The result will be available online on the official website of the exam: http://www.snaptest.org/ . The result shows the score obtained by the candidates. The students can use this score for seeking admission to all MBA institutes of Symbiosis International University for the academic year only.

SNAP 2023 will be conducted on three dates: December 10th, 17th, and 22nd, 2023.
To be eligible for SNAP candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Final year students are also eligible to apply, but they must obtain the required marks before admission.
SNAP 2023 will be a 60-minute computer-based test with 60 questions. The exam will have four sections:

Yes, there is negative marking in SNAP. For each incorrect answer, 25% of the marks for that question will be deducted.
You can attempt SNAP 2023 twice. The best score out of the two attempts will be considered for admission.
The application fee for SNAP 2023 is Rs. 2250/- per attempt. You will also need to pay a programme fee of Rs. 1000/- for each programme you wish to apply for.
