Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test, commonly known as PPMET, is an annual state-level examination conducted by for admission to various para-medical courses in esteemed institutions across Punjab.

📋 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Age: Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
• Education: Passed 10+2 as a regular student with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English.
• Minimum Marks: * General Category: 45% marks in PCB.
  • SC/ST/BC Categories: 40% marks in PCB.
• Domicile: Primarily for Punjab residents (85% state quota), though other candidates may apply for management seats.

• General/Other Categories: ₹4,540 (includes GST and ₹1,000 counseling fee).
• SC Category: ₹2,770 (includes GST and ₹1,000 counseling fee).

PPMET Exam

If you will appear in PPMET exam, then you should know the mode, important topics, question distribution, marking scheme. This is the PPMET exam pattern.

The exam pattern is as follows

• Mode of Exam – The exam  is a Offline test.
• Question type – The questions are Objective type with multiple choice questions.

Marking Scheme – 

• There will be no negative marking. However, the candidates who do not darken the fifth oval (i.e. option- E introduced for security reasons) in case of un-attempted questions shall be getting deduction of marks at the rate of one mark per question left in which all the five ovals have been left blank.
