The Golden Order: Best Choice Filling List
For a high ROI (Return on Investment) and superior clinical exposure, IndCareer experts recommend the following preference order for General and Government Quota seats:
| Priority | College Name | Why Choose This? |
| 1 | University College of Nursing (GGSMC), Faridkot | Direct university campus; lowest fee; massive patient inflow. |
| 2 | Govt. College of Nursing (GMC), Amritsar | Heritage institute; excellent clinical training in govt hospital. |
| 3 | Govt. College of Nursing (Rajindra), Patiala | Prime location; high academic standards. |
| 4 | CMC Ludhiana (College of Nursing) | Best private clinical exposure; globally recognized. |
| 5 | DMCH Ludhiana (College of Nursing) | Superior infrastructure; intensive practical training. |
| 6 | SGRD College of Nursing, Amritsar | High-repute private institute with multi-specialty hospital. |
| 7 | Gian Sagar College of Nursing, Patiala | Modern campus; good placement records. |
Document Verification for NRI & Sports Quota
Specialized categories require Physical Verification at the BFUHS Senate Hall, Faridkot, before the merit list is finalized.
- Sports Quota: Candidates must submit a hard copy of their application along with the Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Director of Sports, Punjab.
- NRI Quota: Requires an Eligibility Certificate from BFUHS. Documents needed include the sponsor’s passport, visa, and an affidavit of relationship.
- BC/SC Category: Ensure your category certificate is dated after April 1, 2025, to satisfy the latest “Creamy Layer” or validity norms for the 2026 session.
What to do after Seat Allotment?
Once the provisional allotment letter is generated, follow these “Final Mile” steps:
- Download Allotment Letter: Log in and print your seat allotment result.
- Medical Examination: Report to the allotted college for a mandatory medical fitness test by the college’s medical board.
- Fee Deposition: Pay the six-month tuition fee (usually via a Demand Draft or Online Transfer) at the college counter.
- Original Document Handover: Submit your Class 10 & 12 mark sheets, Migration Certificate, and Character Certificate.
Expert Teacher Tip: If you are allotted a private college in Round 1 but want a Government seat, choose the “Willingness to Upgrade” option. This allows you to hold your current seat while trying for a better one in Round 2.
