THE NIPER JEE exam consists of 200 questions and the maximum time allowed is 2 hours. Questions will be mainly from the core topics of M.Pharm. The syllabus is similar to that of the GATE entrance exam but the difference is that here more importance is given to Chemistry related subjects.

Roughly 10% to 15% of the paper includes questions evaluating analytical intellect and general awareness:
