National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a test conducted for admissions to the Integrated MSc program in basic sciences – Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CBS were set up by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007.
