🔬 Science (PCB) Section

This is the most critical part of the exam, covering fundamental concepts from the NCERT curriculum.

1. Biology (20 Marks)

Biology is often the highest-scoring section for nursing aspirants.

• Botany: Cell structure, Plant reproduction, Photosynthesis, Plant growth and development, Genetics, and Ecology.
• Zoology: Human Reproduction & Reproductive Health, Human Health and Diseases, Biotechnology, Evolution, and Animal Kingdom.
• Human Physiology: Digestion, Breathing, Body Fluids, Excretion, and Neural Control.

2. Physics (20 Marks)

Focuses on both theoretical concepts and basic numerical applications.

• Mechanics: Units and Measurement, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy, and Power.
• Thermodynamics: Heat, Kinetic Theory, and Thermal properties.
• Electromagnetism: Electric Charges and Fields, Electrostatic Potential, Current Electricity, and Alternating Current.
• Optics: Ray Optics and Optical Instruments, Wave Optics.
• Modern Physics: Atoms, Nuclei, and Semiconductor Electronics.

3. Chemistry (20 Marks)

• Physical Chemistry: Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, and Surface Chemistry.
• Inorganic Chemistry: P-block elements, Coordination Compounds, and Classification of Elements.
• Organic Chemistry: Haloalkanes, Alcohols, Phenols, Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones, Carboxylic Acids, and Polymers.
• Daily Life: Chemistry in Everyday Life, Biomolecules, and Environmental Chemistry.

🌍 General Knowledge & English Section

These sections test your awareness of your surroundings and basic communication skills.

4. General Knowledge (20 Marks)

• Madhya Pradesh Special: History, Geography, and Culture of MP. Important Rivers, Tourism Spots, and Sanctuaries in the state.
• National Affairs: Indian Constitution, Panchayati Raj system, and National Health Programs.
• Current Events: National and International importance, Sports, and Awards.

5. General English (20 Marks)

• Grammar: Tenses, Articles and Determiners, Prepositions, and Modals.
• Sentence Structure: Active/Passive Voice, Direct/Indirect Narration, and Transformation of Sentences.
• Vocabulary: Synonyms, Antonyms, Word formation, and Common Spelling patterns (British).
• Comprehension: Reading passages and identifying key themes or details.

📊 Exam Pattern at a Glance

MP ANMTST

The Madhya Pradesh ANM Training Selection Test (MP ANMTST) is an annual state-level exam conducted by the Professional Education Board (PEB). This exam is for training at women’s health worker training centers. Only female candidates who have completed or are appearing in class 12th can fill out the online application form. After applying, candidates receive admit cards for the entrance examination. Following the exam, a merit list is prepared for qualified candidates, who are then invited to a counseling round with all the required documents.
