MCAER PhD CET Syllabus

The MCAER PhD CET syllabus encompasses various agricultural and allied disciplines like Agronomy, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Science, Agricultural Engineering, and more. Each subject features a specific syllabus outlining the core topics you’ll be tested on.

The exam generally comprises 200 multiple-choice questions spread across the chosen subject areas.

MCAER Ph.D. CET Exam Pattern

The MCAER PhD CET is a computer-based objective type test with 200 questions to be answered in 150 minutes. The syllabus encompasses broad areas like Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Statistics, and Biotechnology, with specific weightage depending on the chosen subject stream.

Total Marks: The Common Entrance Exam will be conducted for 200 marks.

Question Type: The question booklet will contain 200 multiple-choice questions with 4 answer options each. Candidates must mark the correct answer by darkening the corresponding circle against the question number on the OMR answer sheet with a black ink ballpoint pen.

Marks for Correct Answer: +1 marks will be allotted on the correct answer. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Negative Marking: No, zero marks will be deducted on the wrong answer.

Candidates must fill up only one circle completely out of the four provided for selecting an answer against a question. Changing an answer is not allowed.

Scratching, overwriting, tick marking, and providing multiple answers will be considered as wrong answers, and no marks will be allotted for them.

Candidates will receive the Carbon Copy of the OMR sheet at the conclusion of the CET Examination.
