Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent grade.
  • Candidates appearing for their final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply. 
  • Admission for GATE qualified students : Applicants with a valid GATE score & Percentile score 80 & above will undergo an interview for admission.
  • Admission for non-GATE qualified students : Candidates not having valid GATE score or have Percentile score less than 80 will have to appear in the written Test to be conducted by ECSE-MU, followed by an interview for the shortlisted candidates.
  • For specialization in Autonomous Electric Vehicles (A-EV’s) mandatory requirements are:

B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering or Mechanical Engineering* or Automobile Engineering* or Mechatronics*

And

Valid GATE Score in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering or Mechanical Engineering*

*Applicants with B.Tech. specializations in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or Mechatronics will be required to undergo a bridge course of about 4 weeks before commencement of M.Tech. Programme

For specialization in Computer Aided Structural Engineering (CASE) mandatory requirements are:

B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering

And

Valid GATE score in Civil Engineering

For specialization in CSE and Data Science mandatory requirements are:

B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering

And

Valid GATE score in Computer Science Engineering

Fee Structure

GATE route admission 

  • Rs. 1,00,000 per annum Academic Fees
  • Rs. 20,000 Caution Deposit (Refundable after completion of course)

Non- GATE route admission

  • Rs. 1,00,000 per annum Academic Fees
  • Rs. 2,00,000 per annum (Hostel Charges covering both boarding and lodging)
  • Rs. 20,000 Caution Deposit (Refundable after completion of course)
