Admission Notification for KNRUHS MD (Unani) Course 2023-24
KNRUHS MD (Unani) Course 2023 – Eligibility:
Candidates who have appeared AIAPGET 2023 and whose names are included in the merit list of AIAPGET-2023 for Unani P.G. are only eligible to apply, subject to fulfillment of regulations. Candidate should secure the following minimum eligibility percentile or above:
- 50% for General Category (Open) candidates.
- 45% for General Category (Persons with Disabilities (OC-PWD)) candidates.
- 40% for SC, ST and other Backward class including Persons with Disabilities.
The PG Courses leading to Doctor of Medicine in Unani are open to the holders of a Degree obtained in Unani from a University established in India by a state, provincial or Central Act or of an Institution or Board recognized by the University Grants Commission or by a State Government or incorporated under a Central or a State Act.
The candidate should have completed internship or likely to complete by 31-10-2023.
For in-service candidates, three years of regular service shall be calculated as on 30-09-2023. The in-service seats subject to the rules and regulations of Government of Telangana. The admissions into in-service seats will be considered subject to availability of in service seats and deputation orders issued by Government of Telangana.
“Candidates who are already admitted and studying MD (UNANI) Course shall not be permitted for counseling unless they discontinue the course by remitting the bond amount and the stipend taken upto that date before submitting application form and such candidates shall submit the discontinuance certificate issued by the Head of the Institution along with the application.
Candidates who are already holding a Post Graduate Degree in Unani in a subject shall not be eligible for admission into another P.G. Unani Course.
Regarding seats of Central Government Nomination (CGN), Revised Guidelines shall be applicable communicated by Govt. of India vide Letter F.No.R.12013/02/2014-E&C(PG)dt.17-07-2014.
