The KCET 2026 Application Form is officially scheduled to be released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on January 17, 2026. Students aiming for Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Veterinary courses in Karnataka must complete their registration at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in before the deadline.

Latest Update (Jan 4, 2026): KEA has confirmed that the KCET 2026 Registration portal will go live on Jan 17. A “CET Guide 2026” has also been released to assist students with the new OTP-based application process.

How to Fill KCET Application Form 2026

Follow these steps to complete your registration without errors:

  1. Registration: Visit the official website and click on “New User”. Enter your SSLC Register Number and basic details.
  2. OTP Verification: Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent by KEA.
  3. Fill Details: Login using your User ID and Password. Fill in personal, educational, and reservation details (Caste/Rural/Kannada Medium).
  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of your Photo, Signature, and Left-hand thumb impression (Max 50 KB each in JPG format).
  5. Payment: Pay the application fee through the integrated payment gateway.
  6. Final Submission: Preview your form, accept the declaration, and click ‘Submit’. Download the “Print-out” of the filled application for counseling.

  • SSLC Marks Card: To enter exact Name and DOB.
  • 2nd PUC Hall Ticket Number: For 2026 appearing students.
  • RD Numbers: Caste (Caste/Income) and 371(j) certificates if applicable.
  • Aadhaar Number: For identity verification (DigiLocker is also supported).
  • Study Certificate: Details of 7 years of study in Karnataka.

Ans: Yes, KEA will open an application correction window in March 2026 to allow students to rectify specific errors.

Q3: What should I do if my payment fails?
Ans: Wait for 24 hours for the status to update. If it still shows “Pending,” initiate a new transaction. The failed amount is usually refunded by your bank within 7 days.
