Courses Offered:
GTU offers over 80 undergraduate (BE/B.Tech) programs, 130 postgraduate (ME/M.Tech) programs, and 58 doctoral (PhD) programs across various disciplines, including:

Admission Details:
Admission to GTU programs is mainly through entrance exams:
- Undergraduate: UG programs like B.E./B.Tech, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination in the relevant field with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category). GTU-ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) conducted at the state level or national-level exams like JEE Main, LEET, etc.
- Postgraduate: GTU-PGCET (Postgraduate Common Entrance Test) conducted at the university level or GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for some programs.
- Doctoral: Entrance exam conducted by GTU followed by interview.
Eligibility:
Minimum eligibility criteria for different programs vary, but generally applicants must have:
- Undergraduate: Passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or relevant subjects.

Important Dates:
Key dates for different programs vary, but generally applications are accepted online between April and June for undergraduate programs and November to January for postgraduate programs. Entrance exams are usually conducted in May-June for Undergraduate and December-January for Postgraduate programs. Results are declared within a few weeks after the exams.

Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)
- ACPC handles admissions for most UG and PG programs at GTU
- The application fee for ACPC counseling is INR 350
- ACPC admission process includes merit declaration, choice filling, and admission confirmation
Direct admission by GTU
- GTU directly admits students to 14 programs
- For 10 of these programs, applicants must visit the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) website to complete the registration process
- For the remaining 4 programs, applicants must visit the GTU Samarth Portal website to register
