CIPET CAT 2025 will be conducted on 08 June 2025 decided by CIPET. CIPET Diploma Admission 2025 – Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology, formerly known as Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology (CIPET), is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission to Diploma, Post Diploma, and Post Graduate Diploma Programs for the academic year 2025-26 through the CIPET Admission Test 2025. CIPET Diploma Admission

Courses Offered

Here are the durations for the various diploma programs offered:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Plastics Processing and Testing (PGD PPT): 2 years (4 semesters)
• Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design in CAD/CAM (PD – PMD with CAD/CAM): 1 ½ years (3 semesters)
• Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT): 3 years (6 semesters)
• Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT): 3 years (6 semesters)

Eligibility Criteria

For DPMT: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard on a full-time basis. (Candidates who have appeared for the final exam and are awaiting results can also apply).

For DPT: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard on a full-time basis. (Candidates who have appeared for the final exam and are awaiting results can also apply).

For PD-PMD with CAD/CAM: Candidates must have completed a full-time, 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Plastics/Polymer/Tool/Production/Mechatronics/Automobile/Tool & Die Making/Petrochemicals/Industrial/Instrumentation Engineering/Technology or DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or an equivalent qualification. (Candidates who have appeared for the final exam and are awaiting results can also apply).

For PGD-PPT: Candidates must have completed a full-time, 3-year Degree in Science. (Candidates who have appeared for the final exam and are awaiting results can also apply).

Age: There is no age limit.

Application Process

Step 2: Register by entering details such as name, date of birth, email ID, contact number, etc.

Step 3: Log in using the credentials sent to the registered email ID and begin filling out the application form.

Step 4: Enter personal details, test center details, address details, parent’s details, and academic qualification details, etc.

Step 5: Upload the required documents in the application form, such as a photograph and signature.

Step 6: After completing the application form, proceed to pay the application fee.

CIPET Exam

The exam pattern is as follows

• Mode of Exam – The exam  is a Computer Based Test.
• Question type – The questions are Objective / Multiple Choice.
• Number of Questions – There are 100 questions in the entrance exam.
• Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 1 hour.

Marking Scheme – 

• There is no negative marking

Application Fee

• General / OBC/Other : Rs. 100/-
• SC/ST : Rs. 100/-
• North eastern Region : Rs. 100/-
• Mode of Payment : through debit card / credit card / net banking / bank challan

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected based on their academic record and performance in the Computer Based Test referred to as the CIPET Admission Test 2025.

CIPET Joint Entrance Exam is conducted by The Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology for the admission into Post Graduate Diploma (Plastics Processing and Testing and Plastics Testing and Quality Management), Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM and Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology and Plastics Technology. Candidates who are interested for take admission in following programmes must appear for CIPET JEE 2016. Candidates will be given admission based on their result in CIPET JEE.
