Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology (CIPET) invites applications for admissions to CIPET Joint Entrance Exam (CIPET JEE) for the academic year 2019-20.

CIPET JEE is a yearly exam conducted for admissions to Diploma, Post Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma & Doctoral Programs courses at Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology (CIPET)

CIPET JEE 2020 is conducted by Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology (CIPET)

=> Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT): (3 years)
=> Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT): (3 years)

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

Postgraduate Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT): (1½ years)
=> Maximum age 25 years
=> 3 year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects

Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Testing & Quality Management (PGD-PTQM): (1½ years)
=> Age Maximum age 25 years
=> 3 year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects

Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM: (1½ years)
=> Age Maximum age 25 years
=> 3 years Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics Technology, Tool/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Tool & Die Making, DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or equivalent

Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT): (3 years)
=> Age Maximum age 20 years
=> Candidates should have passed Class 10 or School Secondary level exam with English and Science and Maths as compulsory papers from any recognised board of exam

Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT): (3 years)
=> Age Maximum age 20 years
=> Candidates should have passed Class 10 or school secondary level exam with English and Science and Maths as compulsory papers from any recognised board of exam

Application Fee

CIPET JEE Registration & Examination Fee Structure
PGD-PPT Rs 16,500/- per semester
PD-PMD with CAD/CAM Rs 16,500/- per semester
DPMT Rs 13,750/- per semester
DPT Rs 13,750/- per semester
Application Fee For General, OBC, OBC (NCL) candidates : Rs. 250/-

SC/ ST candidates : Rs. 50/-

Candidate belongs to North East Region:Free of cost

How to Apply

=> Information Brochure and Application form can be obtained from any of CIPET Centres against payment of Rs.250/- for general candidates and Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates in cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of "CIPET" payable at Chennai

=> Candidates belonging to Northeastern states can get the application forms free of cost by producing their residential proof / appropriate support documents

How to Apply Online

Candidates can fill and submit the application form online.

Step 1 : Registration
- Create your Application Account carefully and provide complete and accurate information.
- Complete your registration form as directed.
- Provide your mobile number, Email Address to which your Application number, User Name and Password will be sent by SMS & Email.
- All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
- The candidate will be asked to log-in for the online application process using the User Name and Password given at the time of registration.
- Please ensure that your User Name and Password are kept protected to prevent any misuse.

Step 2 : Fill Personal Details

Step 3 : Upload Image and Signature
Upload your scanned passport size photograph, Signature Images. All the images are mandatory. The image properties should be as follows.
Photo – 400 X 400 pixels, Size 250 kb
Signature – 400 x 300 pixels, Size 250 kb
Note : Valid image formats are jpg, jpeg and png. You cannot add other formats.

Step 4 : Fill Payment Details
List of documents to be submitted/attached along with filled-in online Application Form
- Attested photocopy of Date of Birth Certificate.
- Attested photocopies of entry qualification (X / Diploma / Degree Certificates)
- Attested Community Certificates (for SC, ST, OBC (NCL) candidates).
- Residential proof for North Eastern state Region(NER).(If applicable).
- Candidates shall take a printout of Filled-in online application form and submit along with the above enclosures to Director (Academic), CIPET Head Office, Guindy, Chennai – 600 032.

Syllabus

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

Admit card download from university website.

The candidate should also download ehall ticket from University official website.

The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.

The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.

Cutoff

Candidates have who score more than cut off Marks would feature in the merit list. Candidates names included in the merit list will be called for counselling rounds. Candidates can check previous years cut off marks to get an idea of Cut off for the current year as cut-off will be declared after the declaration of Result.

Results

The candidates are also advised to download the Rank Cards from the website after publication of results.
CIPET JEE 2020 was conducted on 26 June 2020 at various examination centres. After conducting the exam, The Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology has declared the result for admission.
