How to Check the Result

Candidates can check the marks obtained by them in the CEETA-PG exam.

They will have to download the CEETA-PG Marks Sheet to be submitted for counselling through TANCA .

The CEETA-PG Result will be announced for students who have qualified in the exam.

The Mark Sheet is also available fro download along with the CEETA-PG Result

If the Marks sheet is lost, candidates can obtain a duplicate on on payment of Rs 100 through a DD in favour of The Secretary, CEETA-PG, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025, along with a written request indicating the Registration No. / Application No.

📊 Understanding the “Percentile Score”

Unlike many exams that show simple raw marks, CEETA PG uses a Percentile Score to determine your rank. This ensures fairness across different engineering disciplines (e.g., Civil vs. Computer Science), where paper difficulty may vary.

• Y: Number of candidates who scored lower marks than you.
• N: Total number of candidates who appeared for the exam in your category.

Note: A percentile of 90 means you performed better than 90% of the candidates who took the test in your specific subject.

🎓 What Happens After Results?

• Merit List: Based on the percentile scores, Anna University will release a rank list for different categories (OC, BC, BCM, MBC, SC, ST).
• Counselling (CEAP 2026): Qualified candidates must register for the Common Engineering Admission Procedure (CEAP) to choose their preferred colleges and branches.
• Stipend: Top-ranking candidates admitted to University Departments or Government-aided colleges may be eligible for a stipend of ₹6,000 per month (subject to government approval).

Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG) will be conducted by Anna University Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu for the candidates who seek admission to M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. Degree Programmes for the academic year are offered at University Departments, Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University, and Government Engineering Colleges only. A limited number of monthly Scholarships offered by the Government of Tamil Nadu are available to the students as per merit and following the reservation norms to pursue higher studies.
