The AP PGECET 2026 examination will be held on 28 April 2026, 29 April 2026 & 30 April 2026. It Results has released. AP PGECET, short for Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test, is a state-level engineering entrance exam conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam (AU, Visakhapatnam). The primary objective of this examination is to facilitate admissions into various M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, and Pharm.D (PB) programs offered by University Engineering and Pharmacy colleges, as well as their affiliated institutions.
Aspiring candidates are advised to verify their eligibility criteria on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, complete the application process, download their admit cards, practice solving previous year’s question papers, and subsequently review the answer key and results.

Eligibility Criteria
The Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for PPGECET:
- They should be of Indian Nationality.
- They should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh.
- The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
- They should have obtained a relevant Bachelors qualifying degree or its equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto for admission into the relevant M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D (PB) courses into the courses corresponding to the Degrees as given in the following Annexure.
- Candidates who are pursuing a B.Tech or its equivalent / B.pharm. courses shall be eligible for entry into the relevant M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D(PB) courses provided they have completed the prescribed course and passed all the subjects for the award of degree by the concerned university on or before the date of counselling for admission into the colleges.
M.Tech (Computer Science & Technology)
– B.E/B.Tech/MSc in Information Systems/Maths/Applied Maths /Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Statistics, MCA of ANUR or its equivalent, AMIE with diploma in the relevant branch
M.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering

M.Tech Bio-Technolgy
– B.Tech. (BioTechnology/Chemical Engg/Food Technology/Agriculture Engg) B.Pharmacy, B.Sc. Graduate Level Pharm-D (PB) course:
Please note that this is a Graduate level 3-year program (UG) in Pharmacy with B.Pharmacy as entry qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. Candidates qualified in APPGECET only will be eligible for admission into the course on the basis of merit. Eligibility:
1. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2. The Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
3. The Candidate should satisfy the local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission.
4. For Engineering courses, candidate should obtain at least 50% marks (45% in case candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
5. For Pharmacy Courses, candidate should obtain at least 55% marks (50% in case candidate belonging to SC & ST category) in the qualifying examination.
Application Process
- For registration and submission of online application the aspiring candidates have to visit the web site https://sche.ap.gov.in/pgecet
- As the application form will be submitted, an intimation message regarding the successful submission of the application form will be received by the candidates via SMS/E-mail.
Application Fee
- For OC candidates : Rs.1000/-
- For BC candidates : Rs.1000/-
- For SC/ST candidates : Rs.500/-

AP PGECET 2023 will be held at six different regional centers in the state i.e.,

Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam – The exam is a Computer based test.
- Question type – The questions are Multiple choice Objective type.
- Number of Questions – There are 120 questions in the entrance exam.
- Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 120.
- Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 2 hours.
- Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in language English.
Marking Scheme –
- Candidates get +1 marks for correct answer.
- And negative marks is 0 for incorrect answers
