How to Download AP ECET 2026 Answer Key PDF
The answer keys are typically released as branch-wise PDFs (e.g., Mechanical, CSE, EEE) and do not require any login to download.
- Go to Official Site: Visit cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET.
- Find the Link: Click on ‘Master Question Papers with Preliminary Keys’.
- Select Your Branch: A list of subjects (Civil, ECE, Pharmacy, etc.) will appear. Click on your respective branch.
- Save the PDF: The question paper with the correct option highlighted will open. Download it for score calculation.
How to Challenge the Preliminary Answer Key
If you find a discrepancy in the official key, you have the right to challenge it. APSCHE provides a specific “Objection Entry” portal for this purpose.
- Deadline: Objections must be submitted by April 29, 2026 (5:00 PM).
- Requirements: You must provide your Hall Ticket Number, Registration Number, and Date of Birth to log in.
- Supporting Evidence: You must upload a clear scanned copy of a standard textbook or reference material that proves the official key is incorrect.
- Review Process: Subject experts will review all valid objections. If a challenge is accepted, a Final Answer Key will be released, and scores for all candidates will be updated accordingly.
Calculating Your Score Using the Key
Use the preliminary key alongside your Response Sheet (which shows the answers you actually marked) to estimate your rank:
- Total Questions: 200 (Maths: 50, Physics: 25, Chemistry: 25, Core Branch: 100).
- Marking Scheme: $+1$ mark for every correct answer.
- Negative Marking: There is NO negative marking in AP ECET 2026.
- Formula: Estimated Score = Total Correct Answers
Qualifying Marks for AP ECET 2026
To obtain a rank, candidates must meet the minimum qualifying percentage:
