The AP EAPCET 2026 Rank Predictor estimates your state-level rank by combining your entrance marks (75% weightage) and Intermediate (IPE) group marks (25% weightage). For the 2026-27 session, a normalized score above 80 typically secures a rank under 5,000, while the qualifying mark remains 40/160 for General/BC categories.

How is the AP EAPCET 2026 Rank Calculated?
Unlike many national exams that rely solely on entrance scores, Andhra Pradesh uses a dual-component system. This means two students with the same EAPCET marks can have wildly different ranks based on their Board exam performance.
The 75:25 Rule Explained
To calculate your final “Combined Score,” APSCHE considers:
- 75% Weightage: Your marks in the AP EAPCET entrance exam (Normalized).
- 25% Weightage: Your marks in the “Group Subjects” (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology) of the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE).
Expert Teacher Tip: Only the marks from your Group Subjects (including Practicals) out of a total of 600 are used. Do not include languages (English/Sanskrit/Telugu) in your 25% weightage calculation.
AP EAPCET 2026 Marks vs Rank (Expected Table)
This table provides a realistic estimation of ranks based on the Combined Score (Out of 100).
| Combined Score (Out of 100) | EAPCET Marks (Approx) | IPE Group % (Approx) | Estimated Rank Range |
| > 90 | 145 – 155 | 98% + | 1 – 100 |
| 80 – 89 | 120 – 140 | 95% + | 101 – 1,500 |
| 70 – 79 | 100 – 119 | 90% + | 1,501 – 5,000 |
| 60 – 69 | 85 – 99 | 85% + | 5,001 – 15,000 |
| 50 – 59 | 70 – 84 | 80% + | 15,001 – 35,000 |
| 40 – 49 | 55 – 69 | 75% + | 35,001 – 60,000 |
| 30 – 39 | 40 – 54 | 70% + | 60,001 – 1,00,000 |
Normalized Score Formula for 2026
Since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, APSCHE uses a normalization formula to ensure students in “harder” shifts aren’t penalized. Use this simplified formula to predict your score:

The “IndCareer Edge”: Common Rank Pitfalls
- The “Easy Shift” Trap: If your shift is exceptionally easy, the normalization process may reduce your “raw” marks by 5–10 points. Conversely, hard shifts see a score boost.
- IPE Importance: Students often ignore Board exams. A difference of 5% in IPE can shift your rank by 2,000 positions in the competitive 10,000–20,000 bracket.
- Tie-Breaking Rules: If two students have the same combined score, the rank is decided by:
- Higher Marks in Mathematics
- Higher Marks in Physics
- Higher Aggregate IPE %
- Age (Older candidate gets the higher rank)
