The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Maths) from any recognized board with English as one of the subjects and with a minimum of 50% marks.

Course Details:

The term neonate is used for the new born infant. When babies are born prematurely they need help and support to survive. Hence, neo-natal care refers to the care given to infants from the time of delivery up till the first month.

Neo-natal care aims at evaluating and measuring the infant’s progress from intra uterine to extra uterine life. A neonatal care technician provides specialized care to the sick and premature newborn and also provides emotional comfort to the nervous parents going through a traumatic experience.

The course provides both theory and practical sessions.The first year’s syllabus comprises of the basic structure and functioning of NICU, Housekeeping and Infection Prevention, Clinical Skills, Basic Communication & Interpersonal skills and Moral Education.
