Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur University Foundation in 1953 established the Department of Education Society's College of protection as was the L 0 T 0. In February 1957, "University Foundation Society and the L 0 T 0 liability Tttha Prisnpttiyo entire staff of the college was transferred to the University. Thus, first in Gorakhpur University education department was set-up of the state government's decision in January 1979, a single department "was changed to the Faculty of Education. In 2003, "Adult Continuing and Extension Education Department has also become a part of the faculty. Thus the present time, two of the faculty - Department of Adult Continuing Education and Extension Education Department and are attached.

Currently, a total of 38 training college Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur is employed in the education faculty supervision and inspection, which employs 29 training college rule under self-financing scheme.
