About Department of Home Science
Background, academic mission, and departmental profile
The department of Home Science was established in the year 1981. In 1989 Post graduation was started with specialization in Human Development and general M.Sc. Home Science. Till date the department has successfully completed 11 Ph.D.s and 11 are ongoing. It has also started M.Phil program in 2009. The Faculty consists of two Professors, one Reader and two Lecturers, two Grade I Technicians and three Grade III Technicians.
