Skill Certification – Food & Beverage Service (Waiter) - Food and beverage service is the "food flow" (from the purchasing of the foods to service to the customer) mainly concerned with the delivery and presentation of the food to customer, after completion of the food production.The programme covers all areas of hospitality such as Food & Beverage, Culinary and Front Office. Students majoring in Food & Beverage will focus their practical skills on the various styles of food service and service standards required of professional wait personnel. Guest relations, order taking, and organization of the dining room will be studied. Beverage operations issues include inventory & purchasing, proper use of glassware, types of wine and wine regions, and the pairing of wine with food.
