Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science & Applications (PGDCSA) - P.G.D. Computer Science and Application - Stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. A PGD is a two-year postgraduate course, eligibility for which is an undergraduate degree in the stream of science. Computer Applications is the study of software engineering and information systems with the practical skills to apply this knowledge for a career in computing and information technology. Subjects usually studied under this degree are Hardware and Software Modules, Networks, Web Design, Programming, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Digital Electronics & Programming, Website Development & Operating Systems, Office Automation, Database Fundamentals, Application programming, Computer Organization and System Analysis & Design etc.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science Application (PGCSA) is a one-year diploma course in India. The study program is suitable for those candidates wants to establish their career in the field like, Banking, Insurance, Accounting, Stock Market, E-Commerce, and Marketing.The study is designed to produce technical and management professional of global standards.The course develops the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strength and weakness of alternative solution, conclusion and also approaches to problems. The course is suitable for those candidates wants to accelerate their profession with higher studies and wants to upgrade their knowledge and computer application skills.

The Master’s study course is designed to improve essential skill and knowledge for operating Basic Windows Skills, Microsoft Office Application, and Knowledge in Databases using Microsoft Access. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of academic discipline Like: Computer Operation & Architecture, C Programing, Operating System, Soft Skills Development, Management Process, Data Structure using Java, Database Management System.

This course requires 1 year of the time period in India. It’s a full-time diploma course, but some student uses part-time and distance learning educational program in certain criteria.

Eligibility

The candidate who have completed Undergraduate Degree or Postgraduate Degree like, Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or an Equivalent Examination with minimum 50% marks,.B-Tech and Engineering Degree holders are also eligible for pursuing in Post Graduate Diploma Course in India.
