Doctor of Philosophy (PhD in Built Environment)

Eligiblity:

=> Along with the application form, the candidates must also submit a research plan in the prescribed format => An entrance exam will be conducted (as per the directives of the UGC). This test will be in English and will consist of two parts - Part A will have 25 multiple choice questions on general aptitude and Part B will have 25 questions related to the built environment discipline => Eligible candidates will be called for an interview and presentation before the Department Research Committee (DRC) of the RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University (this may be on the same day as the entrance exam). The research plan submitted by the candidate will be the basis of the discussion and deliberation of the interview. => Candidates shortlisted for admission by the Department Research Committee (DRC), will forward recommendations to the competent authority at Amity Uiversity UP

Course Details:

The Ph.D. in various Built Environment specializations is an interdisciplinary degree program. The program provides students with a common core of extensive, integrated knowledge focused upon all the facets of the built environment specialization.

The Ph.D. program can be undertaken in the following fields of knowledge and practice:

Ph.D. in Construction Management/Project Management
Ph.D. in Urban Management/Infrastructure Management
Ph.D. in Real Estate Management
