Doctor of Philosophy (PhD Aquaculture)

Ph.D Aquaculture - Aquaculture is itself a multi- and inter-disciplinary science involving a number of scientific fields. Continued expansion of aquaculture production (presently accounting for over 50% of seafood production globally) is recognised as the only way to meet increasing demand for seafood.PhD studies in aquaculture produce researchers who are equipped to face the challenges of developing all facets of aquaculture, from a standpoint of sustainability and with a mastery of advanced multidisciplinary techniques. Society needs research professionals with a clear vision of the need for R+D+I in order for aquaculture to develop in a sustainable way.
