Master of Technology (MTech Electrical Engineering Advanced Power Systems)

M Tech in Electrical Engineering, Advanced Power Systems familiarizes the students with the advanced aspects of protection systems. This course includes overview of power systems protection, numerical relays, integrated protection, control & monitoring, Intelligent Electronic Devices in system protection, Software Architecture and performance characteristics of numerical relays, Wide Area Protection, Video Sessions & Field Visits. By the end of the course students are ready to work with State Electricity Boards, Power Utilities/Corporations.
