Course Details:

Master of Technology in Industrial Biotechnology is a two years postgraduate Industrial Biotechnology degree level course of study in India. Industrial Biotechnology is a technical process associated with the manufacturing, alternative energy, and biomaterials for industrial work.

The specialized professional study emphasized on the uses and implementation of enzymes and microorganism to make products in the sector like Chemical, Food, and Feed, Paper and Pulp, textile and Energy, by involves working with natural products to maximize and optimize existing biochemical products manufacturing. The study also explores the areas related to genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics and its regulatory affairs and the property in biotechnology.

The master study prepares candidates with the strong base and adequate knowledge and skills which facilitate component production, process planning with creative, inquisitive, analytical abilities required for industries. The course of study is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of the Industrial Biotechnology. The course of study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, information, techniques and about the activities associated with Industrial Biotechnology, in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as Advanced Microbiology, Biochemical and Enzymology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Genetics, Basic Principles of Chemical Engineering, Genetic Engineering, Bioinformatics, Fermentation Technology Biology of the Immune System, Food Technology, Development Biology, Advanced in agricultural Biotechnology, Animal and Plant Tissue Culture, Bio Business Management.

Eligibility:

The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree such as Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 60% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode:

This course requires study requires 2 years of time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree.
