B.Sc Food Technology - Food Technology is the study of applying food science to selection, preservation, processing, packaging, distribution, and use of nutritious and safe food. Subjects typically studied under this course are packaging technology, food microbiology, food chemistry and dairy technology. Producing competent graduates in the field of food science and technology who are competitive in global markets with good technical, managerial, communication and entrepreneurial skills.To conduct pilot scale Food Product Development and Quality Control activities with respect to the current ISO and HACCP norms of the Indian food industry.Develop innovative, basic, applied and strategic research to support the educational process.Acquaint students with developments in Food Technology Prepare students to cope with the practical problems and challenges of the Indian food industry.
