B.E Mining Engineering - Mining is the extraction of valuable minerals or other geological materials from the earth, from an orebody, lode, vein, (coal) seam or reef, which forms the mineralized horizon and package of economic interest to the miner.Mining engineers find, extract and prepare metals and minerals for use by manufacturing industries.They design open-pit and underground mines, supervise the construction of mine shafts and tunnels in underground operations and devise methods for transporting minerals to processing plants.
