Instrumentation Technology is an inter-disciplinary branch of engineering. With the advancement of technology, emphasis is more on development of new & intelligent sensors, smart transducers, MEMS Technology, Blue tooth Technology.In the instrumentation systems manufacturing sector, the requirement for highly skilled instrumentation engineers is on the rise.A course in instrumentation technology equip students with good sound theoretical & practical training in the operation and design of electronic instruments, digital logic systems, and computer based automatic process control & instrumentation, & automatic control system design, etc.
The symposium theme was exploration of emerging instrumentation technologies providing solutions for key technical challenges in observational seismology. Symposium presentations highlighted operator perspectives on these challenges, as well as on emerging technologies in the thematic areas of communications, power, and timing. The symposium focused on creating and facilitating a dialog between academia, industry, and others.
