Course Details:

The Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yoga Science (BNYS), is a three to four years an undergraduate yoga and naturopathy degree course in India. Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline originated in India. Naturopathy is a form of alternative medicine based on a belief in vitalism, which posits that a special energy called vital energy or vital force guides bodily process such as metabolism, reproduction, growth and adaptation.

The bachelor study is suitable for those candidates aiming to pursue fitness as their career, hence, the scope for naturopathy & yoga is both getting importance day by day all over the globe including India. people who wish to escape the various side effects and symptoms, which are caused by an allopathic system of medicine, naturopathy and yoga are good for them.

The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Principles and Techniques in an academic discipline such as Introduction of Yoga, Types of Yoga (Hatha Yoga / Bhakti Yoga / Karma Yoga / Ashtanga yoga), Principle of Naturopathy, Hydrotherapy, Introduction of Mud Therapy, Actions & Reaction of Mud Therapy, Meaning of Diet, Concept of Vegetarian Diet, Meaning of Diet Therapy, Principle of Acupressure,meaning and Principle of Colour Therapy.

Eligibility

The candidate has to pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Education from Science Stream with additional subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Bachelor’s Degree study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

This course requires study requires 3 to 4 years o the time period with an internship in India, It’s a practical based, Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning study option to earn this degree.

Further Study

After the successful completion of this course, candidates can also pursue the higher studies and do M.A. (Naturopathy & Yoga), or do specialization and the research-oriented course in their respective field.
