Bachelor of Biomedical Science(Hons) - This four year program in Biomedical Science capitalises on the research-intensive environment at The University of Queensland to prepare you for careers in the rapidly evolving fields of human health and disease.Your studies will focus on the human body at the molecular, cellular and whole body levels and the disciplines of biochemistry and cell biology, physiology, developmental biology, microbiology, pharmacology and neuroscience. You will discover the latest in globally relevant biomedical research from leading scientists based at UQ's research institutes and in your fourth year, you will conduct an honours research project within one of these research laboratories or institutes to put your theoretical knowledge into practice.
