      About Nitte University Center for Science Education and Research NUCSER, Mangalore

      Nitte University has established a research center, Nitte University Center for Science Education and Research (NUCSER). Biomedical Science is an interdisciplinary science that involves the study of human health and disease. Biomedical scientists are trained in various disciplines to gain an understanding of how the human body is organized (anatomy), how the various organs and cells function (physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology), what are the structural and chemical changes taking place in human system in various diseases (pathology and clinical biochemistry), various causative agents of diseases (microbiology, non-communicable diseases, cancer biology), diagnosis (clinical pathology, microbiology, biochemistry and molecular biology) chemotherapeutic agents used in the treatment of diseases (pharmacology) and instrumentation (biophysics).
