B.A Theatre Arts - BA Theatre Arts examines theatre as a contemporary, dynamic form. The degree develops you as a creative, flexible and critical practitioner, preparing you to pursue a wide range of theatre-related careers. On this practice-focused course you will explore performance, direction, design and technical theatre in a challenging and supportive environment, and have the opportunity to specialise in your particular area of interest after your first year.The curriculum includes courses in directing, acting, theatre history, stagecraft, design, theatre arts management, dramatic literature, and theory and criticism, with opportunities to study dance, playwriting, stage management, and dramaturgy.
