B.A.(Optional English) - Stands for Bachelor of Arts in Optional English. Typically, a B.A. is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) in any discipline. Under this course, English is offered as an optional subject with various other subjects, for instance sociology, political science and history.English graduates or post graduates candidates can work as a teacher in colleges, schools and in universities. They can also offer training in english language by opening their own coaching institue or tutorial center.
