B.A. in Folk Music. The course is offered under the Folk Music & Dance department. To understand the ethos of rich Indian culture and heritage, it is a necessity that one takes a dip in the different Indian folk traditions.Traditional folk music has been defined in several ways: as music transmitted by mouth, as music of the lower classes, and as music with unknown composers. It has been contrasted with commercial and classical styles.
